Acceptable Use Policy

Storm Call Pro

This Acceptable Use Policy governs the appropriate use of Storm Call Pro services provided by Horizon Media Group Inc.


Permitted Use

Storm Call Pro may only be used for:

  • Operational alerts – Storm notifications, outage alerts, service updates
  • Storm response coordination – Crew mobilization, resource allocation
  • Utility crew communications – Work assignments, status updates, safety notices

Prohibited Use

The following activities are strictly prohibited:
  • Marketing or promotional messaging – No advertising, sales, or promotional content
  • Political messaging – No political campaigns or advocacy
  • Harassment or abuse – No threatening, abusive, or harassing messages
  • Messaging without explicit consent – All recipients must have explicitly opted in
  • Spamming – No bulk, unsolicited, or repetitive messages
  • Illegal content – No unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading messages

Compliance Requirements

All customers must comply with:

  • TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) – Proper consent and opt-out handling
  • CTIA Messaging Principles – Carrier guidelines for commercial messaging
  • Carrier terms – Twilio and mobile carrier acceptable use policies

Consent & Opt-Out

You must:

  • Obtain and maintain express written consent from all recipients
  • Provide clear opt-out instructions (STOP keyword)
  • Honor opt-out requests immediately
  • Maintain records of consent and opt-outs

Consequences of Violations

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of service
  • Termination of your account
  • Legal action if required
  • Reporting to carriers and regulatory authorities

We reserve the right to monitor usage to ensure compliance with this policy and applicable laws.
